Introducing Hali: Halal Money’s Halal Finance Mascot

At Halal Money, we believe that finance should be as easy as it is fun. Like having a companion who’s knowledgeable in finance and knows not to use finance jargon in conversations, as it might be confusing. This is the vision behind Hali’s creation, and the one that brought him to life. 

Meet Hali: Your Halal Finance Buddy  

Hali was born in the Halal Money Lab. Since his creation, Hali’s role goes beyond a friendly guide – Hali represents the trust and care we extend to Halal Money users. Through Hali, we strengthen our bond with users and establish a stronger brand positioning. 

Whether users are well-versed in halal finance or are just starting to dip their toes in halal finance, Hali is there every step of the way.   

Hali’s Personality: The Friendly Halal Finance Mascot 

Hali is many things, but above all he's your friend: helpful, playful, relatable, with a touch of quirky sense of humour. Hali's mission in life is to make halal finance a lot more fun and less intimidating. He's a robot, but he’s not exactly your average robot. 

Hali doesn't really talk, except through giggles, speech bubbles, and facial expressions shown through the LED screen on his face. Despite being a robot, Hali is very emotive. He often displays a wide range of emotions and a high sense of curiosity, hence his knack for learning and helping people. Hali loves digging up new information about halal finance and relaying it to whoever happens to be nearby. From likening Halal ETFs to a pack of snacks to cheekily popping up on your timeline every now and then, Hali is here to help. 

He also has a unique sense of humour, often making funny, quirky remarks and throwing around puns about robots ("Ever heard of robo-dogs? They're cute, but I'm afraid they byte.")  

In his free time, Hali can be seen around the Halal Money office, mingling with friends, doodling on scrap papers, and taking naps on tissue boxes.  

Fun Facts about Hali 

• Hali's favourite series is Harry Potter, and his favourite house is Ravenclaw. (He's currently on book 4, so please avoid spoilers when talking to him)
• Hali can grow and shrink in size as he pleases.
• Halal finance is his forte. Everything Hali learns about halal finance, he stores in his memory.
• Hali loves koalas but is afraid of kangaroos.
• Since most of his friends are humans, sometimes they can be very different from him. Hali finds this fascinating and likes to record his observations in his journal, which he calls The Hali Log.
